Inaugurato a Verona l’Istituto Italiano degli Studi Islamici ed Umanistici BAYAN con grande partecipazione accademica
Domenica scorsa 12 marzo presso il Best Western Hotel di Verona è stata celebrata l’inaugurazione ufficiale dell’Istituto Italiano degli Studi Islamici ed Umanistici BAYAN.
L’evento ha visto la partecipazione di circa 250 persone, tra cui le autorità locali, i responsabili delle maggiori istituzioni islamiche italiane, i rappresentanti di università italiane ed enti di ricerca, professori, ricercatori e dottorandi.
La cerimonia è iniziata con la recitazione del Sacro Corano da parte dello Sheikh Hisham Maroufi, seguita dal discorso di apertura del Presidente dell’Istituto, Dott. Anwar Al-Nahmi, e poi dalla parola del rappresentante del Consiglio dei Garanti dell’Istituto, Dott. Ali Abu Shwaima.
È stato proiettato un video di presentazione dell’Istituto, dei suoi programmi, delle attività in corso e dei progetti futuri.
Numerosi sono stati gli interventi dei rappresentanti di istituzioni islamiche, enti di ricerca e università, tra cui il rettore facente funzione dell’Istituto Universitario Sophia, Prof. Declane O’Byrne, il portavoce dell’Organizzazione internazionale di beneficenza, Dott. Ahmed Al-Rawi, e il presidente dell’Istituto europeo di scienze umane di Parigi, Dott. Ahmed Jaballah.
La cerimonia ha dato voce anche agli studenti e ai professori che hanno parlato della loro esperienza all’interno dell’Istituto e valutato il primo semestre di lezioni appena concluso.
Durante la tavola rotonda si è discusso l’impatto del neonato istituto sul panorama accademico italiano, le sue peculiarità e le possibili collaborazioni con altre istituzioni ed università presenti.
La cerimonia è stata animata da anashid e si è conclusa con un momento conviviale.
L’inaugurazione dell’Istituto Italiano degli Studi Islamici ed Umanistici BAYAN rappresenta un’importante aggiunta alla vita scientifica e accademica in Italia ed Europa, come evidenziato dagli interventi dei numerosi partecipanti alla cerimonia.
