Purpose:
To train specialists in Islamic studies who can properly represent the civilian image of Islam, effectively serve their community and reinforce the values of coexistence by preparing a high-level, efficient academic environment in line with modern international standards of quality.
Objectives:
- To prepare and qualify religious figures with a broad knowledge of Islam and its teachings.
- Comprehensive training and professional qualification of Imams and religious leaders to enable them to meet the needs of the Muslim minority.
- Building bridges of knowledge and civil communication in a multicultural society and strengthening the values of coexistence.
- Provide a specialized academic environment for researchers and those who wish to learn about Islam.
- Teaching Islamic Sciences and Humanities and issuing certifications.
- Undertake studies and research in Islamic sciences and issues relevant to the Muslim community.
- Presenting Islamic culture and knowledge with the means at hand.
Characteristics of the graduate:
- He or she will be familiar with the Islamic and humanities sciences and their foundations and be able to understand and contextualize the texts in contemporary reality;
- He/she will be able to compile scientific research, solve Islamic legal problems and apply the solutions in the specific context;
- He will know general and minority-specific laws;
- He will be able to do religious leadership, prepare sermons and represent proper Islamic behavior;
- It will be able to solve social problems, serve its community and promote good social coexistence.
- will be characterized by the values of tolerance, moderation and balance, and opposed to the causes of extremism and radicalization;
- Will be skilled in interfaith and intercultural dialogue as well as the art of communication and persuasion
- will be an advocate of the values of good coexistence and civil dialogue, and the strengthening of humanitarian and brotherhood ties, both theoretically and practically;
